International full-service provider to live events, GES, has promoted Michael Stewart to managing director of its EMEA Design and Build division.
The company claims ‘significant expansion’ of its custom-build business over the last 10 years, with a growing portfolio of major brand clients, including in the aerospace, technology and pharmaceutical sectors.
International reach has also grown with offices in the UK, Germany, Amsterdam and the UAE.
In a landmark year the team has won Stand Design and Build Supplier 2016 at the AEO Awards, delivered its biggest ever Farnborough International Air Show and claims to be on track to secure over 1,400 projects.
Stewart has worked with GES for more than 20 years, most recently as COO of Design and Build. He said: “We are one of very few companies that can truly offer a global solution. I will continue to integrate GES’ Design and Build business into a single international operation, leveraging best practice to provide a consistently high standard of design, build and service to our growing client base regardless of budget and location.”
