Dundas Castle, has appointed Louise Andrew to the role of general manager.
Andrew brings specific expertise in working with prestigious venues, following four years as head of sales and marketing at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). With a strong business development and sales background, she has achieved success with previous employers such as Grant Management LTD, STV and IPC Media.
Originally from Kent, Andrew has lived in Edinburgh for 16 years and is passionate about working on customer service and quality experience for guests.
Situated outside Edinburgh, 17 bedroom Dundas Castle is a five star exclusive-use venue suitable for group events, corporate meetings and weddings and is one of Scotland’s finest and most exclusive venues.
Commenting on Louise’s appointment, owner Sir Jack Stewart-Clark said: “Louise is an excellent addition to the team here at Dundas. Her experience and achievements in sales management are second to none and we were particularly impressed with her ability to build strong teams and produce results. Situated next to a loch, Dundas Castle is an 18th century home, popular for weddings and corporate getaways as well as family parties and group events. The Castle features its own 600-year-old keep, a private squash court and vast lawns and woodland.
