London landmark gets a new sales coordinator

London landmark The O2 has appointed Jo Peplow-Revell as its new event sales coordinator. Peplow-Revell is responsible for for all incoming sales enquiries for The O2 Arena, American Express Invites Lounge, Green Room and The Quadrant. She will also focus on Building Six as it prepares for a busy Christmas season.

Peplow-Revell joins from events agency Crazy Cow Events, which specialises in corporate venue finding and event management. At Crazy Cow Events she oversaw a 2,000-guest winter ball at the Natural History Museum and managed Christmas parties on Tower Bridge Walkways.

Becci Thomson, business development manager, said on Peplow-Revell’s appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Jo to The O2 events team as we continue to grow the conference and events business at the venue. Jo’s agency background means she has a great understanding of the industry, as well as possessing key skills in event management. It is fantastic to have her on board as we head into the last few months of the year and our busy Christmas party season.”

Peplow-Revell added: “I’m really looking forward to moving from an agency side to the venue side and I am particularly looking forward to getting stuck in with this year’s Christmas party offering at Building Six – Party in a Pear Tree – The 12 Days of Christmas. It’s exciting to be working on an event taht has been designed to really push the limits of every guest’s imagination and offer something completely different to the traditional Christmas party package.

“I am also looking forward to working with the team to develop next year’s summer events and venue showcases. The O2 is such a versatile and fun space to work with and attracts such a diverse range of clients, so I am really looking forward to getting started.”
