The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has confirmed that its annual conference will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 24 November 2016.

The event will see beMatrix take the role of headline sponsor, Europa International and Octanorm UK returning as event sponsors, while several other partners offer their support including Jungheinrich Event Hire, Mash Media Group, Perton Signs, GES, Towergate Coverex and Information Technology Rentals.

Hans Leenhouts is due to return to his role as event chair for the second consecutive year and this year’s keynote will see renowned professional sport and business consultant Simon Hartley take to the stage to demonstrate what it takes to be “world class.”

Delegates will have the chance to attend two industry panel sessions including a detailed exploration of what Brexit will mean for the industry. Olympic athlete Derek Redmond is scheduled to be the closing speaker, with the evening being rounded off with the ESSA Conference after-party.

Anders Kvist, sales director at beMatrix, said: “We’re delighted to support the ESSA conference this year as headline sponsors and look forward to continuing that support for future events.”

ESSA director Andrew Harrison added: “the theme of this year’s conference is that there is no theme! We didn’t want a conference that was exclusive and only attracted CEO’s and MD’s or sales and marketing.

“Our sector is as broad a church as you could wish for, and this year’s conference is representative of that. This is an industry event primarily attended by the ESSA community, but we invite the whole industry to come and take part. Where better to meet with your industry colleagues and your current and future event suppliers and service providers?”
