ABPCO releases Excellence Awards shortlist

The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) has revealed the shortlist for their 2016 Excellence Awards.

The Excellence Awards, which will once again coincide with the Chairmen’s Lunch, will take place at Manchester Central on Friday 9 December. An independent panel selected the nominees. Winners are selected through peer voting among those in attendance.

Nicole Leida, joint-chair of ABPCO, said: “Now in its third year, the awards have gone from strength to strength. The calibre and number of entries continues to grow making the shortlisting process ever harder.”

She added: “This year’s shortlist contains an incredibly strong selection of events from across the sector pulled together by industry leading professionals. I would like to congratulate all those who have made it through to the final judging amongst their peers and look forward to their presentations on the day.”

Last year’s winners included NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau (Best Supplier Partner), Diabetes UK (Best Conference by an In-House Conference Organiser) and Opening Doors & Venues (Best Conference by an Agency Conference Organiser).
