Jennifer Jensen has been appointed manager of Liverpool Convention Bureau. She is covering maternity leave for Kate Currie.
Jensen has previously held positions at ACC Liverpool and London convention bureau in sales and marketing roles.
In her new role, Jensen will be tasked with continuing the city’s growth and development as a conference and event destination, starting with an busy period, which sees the Labour Party conference and European Association for International Education arrive in September.
Jensen said: “2016 has been a busy year already with events such as the International Festival for Business and ISPNO bringing thousands of international delegates to the city. As well as an excellent range of venues across the city region, Liverpool has a diverse downtime offering. All of these factors mean it is perfectly poised to further grow, and it’s a challenge I’m relishing.”
