Investing in your staff pays, just ask Sundial Group

Sundial Group is celebrating after once again being accredited the prestigious Investors in People Standard, reinforcing its strong commitment to its staff.

Based in Northamptonshire, the award-winning hospitality group has held the accreditation for an impressive 17 years, having first achieved it in 1999.

Sundial is amongst 14,000 organisations worldwide that are recognised by Investors in People. The standard encourages high performance by championing best practice in people management. Successful accreditation is the sign of a great employer who understands that it is the people who make the difference.

John Walden, Investors in People practitioner, who conducted the assessment, said: “It was a pleasure and privilege to conduct this assessment. Sundial Group has a strong ethos and culture with regard to learning and development and there is a dedicated workforce who feel valued, appreciated and rewarded for their contribution.”

Tim Chudley, managing director of Sundial Group said: “We are thrilled to retain our Investors in People Standard, having held it consistently now for 17 years.

Having the expert accreditation of our people-focused culture isn’t just important to our clients but I know it also keeps our management processes targeted on what is most important; the engagement and morale of our teams.”
