Industry stalwarts’ peddle power at Prudential Peleton raises £3k for Meeting Needs

Four event industry stalwarts joined the 26,000 participants in the recent Prudential Ride 100 London-Surrey Peleton Relay and raised £3,000 for the Meeting Needs charity.

Glenn Bolton from The Production Exchange; Jim Donald of Jack Morton Worldwide; Dale Parmenter from drp and Richard Waddington of the Event Marketing Association made their mark on the largest mass participation cycle ride in the world, although Parmenter somehow initially joined a group of elite riders before finding his true buddies.

Waddington described it as “an amazing experience, extremely well organised and great fun, the support of the public along the route spurred us on…If you feel inspired to join us next year get in touch with Meeting Needs”.

The charity’s chair Jenifer Jenkins, of Meeting Needs, described the effort as “a great example of how a small charity like ours can benefit from the kind support and motivation of others who, like a number of our other supporters, give up their time and energy to raise funds on our behalf”.
