Getting a Grip on the future

Grip, the company behind the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) event networking solution on Wednesday announced the launch of its Application Programme Interface (API) to enable event applications to integrate its matchmaking engine into their own apps.

Five companies who have signed-up with Grip to provide integrated business event networking apps via the API include Eventfuel, ITM Mobile, Attendease, Goomeo and Loopd.

Grip’s artificial intelligence powered matchmaking platform, which is currently taking the events world by storm, can now integrate with any event app or website through REST APIs. This makes it possible for event businesses to easily integrate Grip into their products.

Tim Groot, CEO of Grip said: “By launching our API, we have widened the scope of our unique event matchmaking solution so that it can be used via a company’s own website or existing digital apps. It provides a seamless and simple solution for companies keen to use our matchmaking engine in the optimum way and who want to integrate it with their existing solutions.”

Todd Heintz, CEO of Attendease added: “As an event portfolio management platform, having the matchmaking and analytics capabilities of Grip as a value-add to the Attendease solution offers something unique to our customers and their happy event attendees.”

Robbie Howshall, COO of SmartUp, the micro-learning platform for entrepreneurs and the sixth company to partner with Grip via the API said: “Grip’s technology will help us to connect people on the SmartUp platform in an engaging and relevant way. The integration has been very easy and the technical support we are getting from the team has been great.”
