Famous Glasgow hotel and meeting venue to change names

The Glasgow City Hotel is to rebrand as DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow City on 28 September. Located on Cambridge Street, right in the heart of Glasgow, it close to the city’s main attractions and a short walk from the main railway stations. The hotel has been transformed and now boasts 300 newly designed bedrooms.

A preferred hub for business events, conferences, and award ceremonies, DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central features 13 meeting rooms including the Grand Ballroom; the largest hotel function room in Scotland, which can hold up to 1,500 delegates.

All meeting rooms are flexible in layout and capacity, and can host anywhere between 10 and 1,500 guests.
