Corporate Travel Management signs up Russian partner

International agency, Corporate Travel Management (CTM), which acquired the Chambers Travel Group agency in 2015, is continuing to expand its global footprint, having signed a partnership agreement with Unifest Travel, one of the top 10 travel management companies in Russia.

Headquartered in Moscow, Unifest has regional hubs St Petersburg, the Urals and Siberia. The company employs 206 staff and it turned over more than US$163m in 2015.

Unifest manages some large corporate travel accounts, including implants at Inter RAO, the largest Russian public energy company, and Rostelecom, the largest national telecommunications operator in the country.

“We are delighted that Unifest has decided to join our global partnership network. The Russian market is a key strategic area for us with a population of over 140m and a large number of international companies based in the region. Finding a strong, local partner, such as Unifest is essential in ensuring complete service coverage for CTM across the Eurozone,” said Debbie Carling, CEO Europe, Corporate Travel Management.

Valery Rogatch, Unifest GM, added: “Stepping into partnership with Corporate Travel Management marks a milestone in our evolution. We are not only looking forward to sharing with network partners our local expertise accumulated over almost 20 years of operating in the complex Russian corporate travel market. We are also hopeful to emulate the best practices applied by the like-minded alliance partners and capitalise on the resulting synergy”.
