Apprentices make their mark in the North East

Hospitality Guaranteed, which offers online solutions for conference, event and accommodation management, has taken on two new apprentices who will be based at its Wynyard Park site.

Renata Stiklinskaite and James Daley join a workforce that has grown 50% since the summer.

Launched in 2006, the company developed a bookings and management system, HG One Stop, and has since added ‘Apprentice Stop’, used by businesses running apprentice or staff residential programmes, as well as ‘Conference Stop’, an online venue finding and conference management tool.

Stiklinskaite, who moved from Latvia four years ago, will assist the team in sourcing accommodation and training facilities for companies throughout the UK, as well as managing hotel bookings for residential training courses.

Daley, from Hartlepool, originally trained as a plumber, but wanted to make the switch to the hospitality industry and will support the administration department, liaising with clients and venues.

Both newbies will continue with Business Administration apprenticeships through Hartlepool College of Further Education.

Hospitality Guaranteed co-founder Victoria Brunton said: “We are firmly committed to developing the next generation of corporate hospitality specialists and are delighted to have Renata and James on board, in what is shaping up to be a landmark year for Hospitality Guaranteed.

“They have an important role to play as we drive the company forward into our next decade in business.”
