Mash Media launches ‘Industry Initiative’ to champion charity and industry campaign collaboration

Mash Media has launched an industry wide initiative designed to capture the full breadth of campaigns and activities that show the events industry giving back to communities, charities and business.

Called simply the ‘Industry Initiative’ (I.I) the campaign includes a flag logo that can be used as a kite mark of recognition for worthy activities.

Mash Media hopes the Industry Initiative will encourage collaboration on industry campaigns and underline the full scale of outstanding initiatives that take place throughout the year.

“It is our ambition that the symbol of the I.I flag will be seen as a rallying tool for those who are doing something for the benefit of the industry,” said Jamie Wallis, creative director at Mash Media.

“We hope the I.I flag will encourage co-operation between all corporations, big and small to join in on industry initiatives and drive them forward.”

Wallis confirmed that as long as the event or initiative serves to better the industry (i.e it’s purpose is education, mentoring, awareness, charity etc) and is co-operative, Mash Media will issue the I.I kite mark and back the cause.
