Heathrow Marriott reveals 1,800sqm of refurbished conference space

London Heathrow Marriott Hotel has unveiled its new conference and meeting space after undergoing a £3m refurbishment programme.

The transformation includes 14 fully redesigned, multi-purpose meeting rooms within 1,800sqm of refurbished conference space.

Architects, EPR, worked on the project to create a conference capacity of up to 480 people with an additional six meeting rooms, all equipped with innovative technology such as Write on Walls, Barco Clickshare, LED screens and Bluetooth sound bars.

There is also a reimagined food and beverage experience in the new conference area, along with flexible social spaces.

GM Ron Vos, said: “We are delighted with our new conference space and we’ve had very positive responses from the site visits.

“The space is perfect for larger conferences and exhibitions – proving to be especially important given the fact that many overseas conferences are opting to stay in Heathrow instead of going in to Central London.”

The hotel also boasts 393 soundproofed bedrooms.
