GOSH – Ellis walks the walk for Great Ormond Street

MD of Berkshire-based agency Team Umbrella, Martin Ellis, has completed his charity walk from Land’s End to London to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. Ellis did the 300-mile trip, finishing at the hospital.

Ellis started his walk on 29 June and said: “This has been an incredibly tough yet rewarding challenge. I think it is fair to say I am no longer an elite athlete!

“My knees are aching, my ankle is causing me agony and there seems to be blocks of pain where my feet should be but knowing it is for such a great cause spurs me on to complete the walk. People can still donate money and I hope that we can raise a significant amount, as Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital does some great work in the most difficult and heartbreaking circumstances.”

Anyone wishing to donate can do so here
