North West agency Make Events has employed two new staff members within its Cheshire office on the back of its most successful year to date.
Managing director, Holly Moore announced year-end figures up 53%, on a £1m turnover, and new client wins including for Virgin East Coast Trains PZ Cussons and Hays Recruitment.
This year saw Make Events break the international market with its first events abroad, including working in Lisbon, Abu-Dhabi and Dubai.
Recently graduated, Faye Smallwood (pictured) joins the team as venue finding executive following a part time university placement with the agency, which has heavily invested in venue finding technology to support its international push.
Charlotte Aston Redfern also joins from Hays Recruitment as full time office manager and PA to Moore.
A new CRM and a new finance system have also been put in place and Moore said: “Technology is at the centre of what we do and we use great tools to support our creativity and productivity. To achieve 53% growth in only our fourth year is exceptional and a huge testament to the incredible team I have. I am delighted to welcome two new staff members so we can continue to expand our international offering.”
Make Events will also deliver their first major charity ball in September this year on behalf of BetFred owner, Fred Done.
