Future Trends Beer and Cider Summit to serve up at LSO St Luke’s

LSO St Luke’s is opening its venue doors this month for the first time for the 2016 Future Trends Beer and Cider Summit.

The one-day conference will provide a forum to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the beer and cider categories. Over 150 people are expected to attend the event, which is taking place on 22 June in the London venue’s Jerwood Hall.

Guests will be treated to interactive sessions, beer and cider tastings and a keynote speech from the president and CEO of the Brewers Association, Bob Pease on ‘Moving and Shaking the American Market. What learnings we can take from across the pond?’

LSO St Luke’s event manager Christopher Cashman says: “We think it’s great that the Future Trends Beer and Cider Summit have chosen LSO St Luke’s for their event. With all the microbreweries that have opened in previous years in East London it suits the event perfectly to be held on Old Street.”

Publican’s Morning Advertiser food and drink Editor Nicholas Robinson said: “We’re bringing the best people from the beer and cider sectors together to thrash out what the future trends in beer and cider will be.

“The American craft beer and cider scenes have gone from strength to strength and the UK needs to bolster its offer, so president of the US Brewers Association Bob Pease has been drafted in to give his insight into how American brewers are doing it.”
