Experience Oxfordshire joins information centre in bureau rebrand

Tourism board Experience Oxfordshire has announced the rebranding of its conference bureau from Meet Oxfordshire to Experience Oxfordshire Conferencing.

The latest stage in the Experience Oxfordshire rebrand is designed to bring clarity to the company’s structure, with the conferencing business joining the Oxford Visitor Information Centre under one unified Experience Oxfordshire brand.

A new Experience Oxfordshire Conferencing website has also been launched.

Content has been enhanced and now includes wedding venues, along with ideas for teambuilding and incentive days in Oxfordshire. It also aims to encourage business visitors to stay in the county longer, with ideas on what to see and do in Oxford and Oxfordshire before, during or after their corporate event.

Hayley Beer-Gamage, chief executive of Experience Oxfordshire said: “We want to encourage more MICE business to Oxfordshire and the new website will help us reach a global audience more effectively. The past 12 months has seen the whole of the organisation being rebranded including investment in new B2B and B2C websites and it great to have the conferencing site now under the same brand.”

Martin Walker, the agency’s head of marketing and development added: “The new Experience Oxfordshire Conferencing website has been fully redesigned to better showcase the excellent range of meeting, conference and event venues we have in Oxfordshire. Improved navigation and user experience will enable conference and event planners to find quickly find the right venue, and ultimately encourage more businesses to visit the county.”
