Glasgow and Salisbury-based PCO Meeting Makers has appointed former VisitScotland marketing manager for associations, Kerry Watson, as business development manager. She will be based in their Glasgow office.
Watson joins the established PCO team, following a 15-year career in various MICE roles within national tourism board VisitScotland.
As well as experience in promoting Scotland as a key association destination in the UK, European and North American markets, Watson has held posts that have included managing regional ambassador programmes and the National Bid Fund, as well as VisitScotland representation on the PCMA International Task Force Committee.
Clive Thomson, chairman and MD at Meeting Makers said he was “delighted” that Watson had joined the Meeting Makers Glasgow office. “She brings varied experience in association sales and marketing and will be an important addition to help us to continue our growth plans for our PCO, AMC and corporate business in Glasgow and Salisbury,” he said.
