The director of Cisco Live, the largest IT congress in Europe, Bonny Shapira, is to deliver the keynote at the next MPI Insights event in London on 6 June.
Shapira will be discussing how the event is designed and communicated before, during and post event to inspire engagement.
MPI UK & Ireland chapter VP for education, Jackie Mulligan, says: “We are delighted to be getting insider insights from the director of Cisco Live on how the experience is designed and to be joined by a panel to discuss not only how to engage but how to measure engagement at events. I am sure planners and suppliers will get plenty of new ideas and approaches to put into action.”
In addition to Shapira, the panel will include event tech expert James Morgan; head of production at Banks Sadler Jon Coventry; Meetovation guru Margit Klemmensen; UK head of events at Societe Generale Sofia Godinho and Jackie Mulligan, of the UK Centre for Events Management in Leeds, who will outline recent research findings.
MPI chapter president Richard Parker, adds: “The June MPI Insights event rounds off an impressive slate year of chapter driven educational events which have brought global trends, economic forecasts, creative thinking, CSR, talent and technology. We have had a great attendance from planners, venues, agencies, destinations and marketers who have gained much from coming along through meeting new contacts as well as new content.”
