Teambuilding specialist Bluehat Group is getting in the mood for the upcoming Rio Olympic events with a rebrand and a new portfolio of Olympics-themed events.
Events range from conducting your very own Rio-inspired Samba Band with Revel Music, to hosting your own Olympic ceremony using 10ft tall puppets in Puppet Masters. And you can test your knowledge of Brazil while learning to mix, juggle and flare to produce the best cocktails in Ice N Slice.
If you team is sporty, Bluehat has the Two Tribes competition, with medals up for grabs.
Bluehat is also launching a new Go Team trail Alternative Urban Olympics. Using their industry leading technology this trail takes place in a variety of locations from the Kings Cross Canal Basin to Regents Park and through the urban environment in between. Using GPS tablets and pop up info bars to guide them, the teams select which locations they would like to visit and which checkpoints to attempt. The Triathlon for example requires the team to find the words run, swim and cycle around Euston station in the quickest possible time, another may require a photo of the whole team balancing on a beam in an urban gym or playground.
Senior project manager Dave Turner said: ‘We designed this trail to appeal to the sporty and non-sporty alike. The Alternative Urban Olympics explores less frequently visited areas of London providing plenty of ‘I never knew this was here’ moments and a lot of laughs. Because the teams have the freedom to choose the checkpoints they want to attempt the whole team can get involved and find something that appeals to them.
