A new conference and meeting centre has opened close to Temple Meads station in Bristol.
Costing £650,000, the new facilities are located at the four-star DoubleTree by Hilton, Bristol City Centre hotel on Redcliffe Way.
Major work has added conference and meeting capacity and bedrooms and management says the project comes in response to a rise in meetings facilities demand in the city in recent years.
Boasting on site parking, the new facility offers two separate meeting rooms or as one individual room on the ground floor that can host 150 delegates. There is also a breakout room.
The reception floor has a boardroom and two smaller meeting rooms, or one larger space that can accommodate up to 120 delegates.
Five new, standard double bedrooms have been added on the first floor, taking the total number of rooms at the hotel to 206.
Sales manager Nicola Beaumont says she is looking forward to showcasing the venue to potential customers. “The new facilities are a stunning addition to what has become arguably the leading four-star venue in the centre of Bristol,” she says.
“It’s great news for the hotel and also good news for the city which has benefitted from an increase in both tourist and business travellers.”
