The CMP Boot Camp Live, created by MPI and the UK Centre for Events Management (UKCEM), will be coming to the Conference and Hospitality Show (CHS) at the first direct Arena in Leeds on 25 – 26 April.
Jackie Mulligan, vice president of education for MPI UK and Ireland said: “We are delighted to be bringing Boot Camp Live to the Conference and Hospitality Show in Leeds. The one and a half full days is a fast track way to gain the necessary hours and the ideal level of education that directly benefits business and gets people on track to becoming Certified Meeting Professionals.”
Emma Cartmell, managing director CHS Group said: “Everyone is so ‘time poor’ these days, so the Boot Camp offers organisers a great way to combine gaining essential knowledge with attending CHS to source new suppliers, network and conduct business. We have a great relationship with MPI and the UK Centre for Events Management and we are thrilled to be working with them to incorporate this prestigious education experience into the show.”
The one and a half day intensive and interactive CMP Boot Camp Live Experience involves practical and on site exercises that are designed to provide insights, best practices and approaches for managing events for the MICE sector.
The Boot Camp covers topics including strategic planning, financial management, HR, event design, project management and marketing with examples, practical exercises, tests and team work together with a team challenge to use the knowledge gained to develop a new event for a client.
CMP is a certification that is awarded by the Convention Industry Council and is currently held by 10,000 individuals in 55 countries.
The CMP Boot Camp Live experience is priced at £229 per person. To register your interest contact email@example.com
