Simply Better wins series of event contracts

Yorkshire-based family owned events agency Simply Better has reported winning a set of major new contracts, including with iCandy and ghd.

Pushchair manufacturer iCandy and hair straightener brand god are among companies to have appointed the agency to manage events aimed at both staff and customers.

Simply Better says it has received a brief from iCandy to produce a customer event in Manchester in May, featuring a VIP dinner and entertainment.

In April, the agency will also manage a conference for 600 leaders from across the North West for a utilities client.

ghd held its annual conference and 15th birthday celebrations in Leeds in January, with Simply Better providing support on venue selection, event format and creative production.

Other clients for the agency include Skipton Building Society, Maplin, First Direct and Provident Financial. The business, founded in 2001 by Chris Holt, is marking its 15th anniversary with a new logo and redesigned website. It is also staging a series of forums aimed at internal communications specialists.
