MyEvent.Vision to unveil finale as GL events makes a special Confex entrance

Some of the most dynamic profiles in the events industry will take to the MyEvent.Vision platform at International Confex this week to bring to life the role innovation has in creating sustainable growth for the industry.

The session will represent the competition’s spectacular finale and forms part of UK Events Week.

The Experience is the Marketing’s Kevin Jackson, event entrepreneur Jason Allan Scott, Eventbrite’s Marino Fresch, and events creative Robert Dunsmore, are among the big industry names taking to the stage at Olympia alongside Chad Lion-Cachet, chief executive of Events International Group (EIG) and MyEvent.Vision creator.

Lion-Cachet will announce full details of the winning idea from last year’s MyEvent.Vision in a show exclusive and also report live on progress in judging for this year’s competition.

“We’re bringing six finalists, all with great event concepts, to the show for a chance to meet the right people and spend some time in the inspirational setting of Event Production Show and International Confex,” said Lion-Cachet. “As part of this we’re producing a session that really brings to life why the competition exists and its wider purpose for the industry.”

Meanwhile, GL events UK will be providing a warm welcome to show visitors.

The global events agency will be sponsoring the main entrance. “We’re keen to do anything that supports and grows the UK events industry and our partnership with these landmark shows is the perfect way to do this,” said Toby Bennett, sales director, GL events UK. “We’re looking forward to being part of the official welcome and hope everyone has a productive and inspirational experience.”

“We’re delighted to have GL events UK as part of our official welcome to the shows; they are a great business and the kind of brand event organisers want to see,” said Liz Agostini, event director, International Confex and Event Production Show. “More and more exhibitions are creating bespoke entrances that provide a more dynamic and creative welcome, and we’ve got the right people on board to bring this to life.”

International Confex takes place 2–3 March 2016 at Olympia London. For more information visit
