Sally Lopez has been appointed Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos’ regional director of global sales for Europe, with responsibility for the MICE business across the region.
Lopez, who is based in London, previously served as director of sales – corporate and MICE for India’s luxury hotel group, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces and before that as director of global sales force at NH Hotel Group in London.
“We’re delighted Sally is joining us in this leadership role to align our goals and objectives, and ensure we maximise customer acquisition, retention and growth,” says Greg Naylor, director of worldwide sales at HRI.
Lopez adds: “Developing MICE business is a key focus on my role. We aim to increase the brand awareness of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in this segment through educating meeting planners, creating visibility for Hard Rock Hotels by exhibiting and attending main trade shows and proactive membership in key industry organisations. We also want to provide our clients with a dedicated single point of contact for better servicing of their requirements. We want to educate the meeting planners of the exciting and untraditional options they have in our hotels.”
