Engaging event at thestudio

30 corporate event planners, agencies and suppliers attended a showcase hosted by KDM Events, on 3 March at thestudio Birmingham.

KDM commercial director Nicky Whyman said: “This year more than any other we are seeing a huge focus on employee engagement, so the time is ripe to give our clients some direct experience and inspiration for their events.”

Guests, who included representatives from Ernst & Young, Smith Williamson and Xoserve, toured a series of specially-created zones within thestudio. With Rio 2016 fast approaching the ‘Outdoor’ zone showed clients how they might incorporate the spirit of the Olympics into their events and motivational programmes, while the ‘Explore’ room enticed guests into a purple and gold vision of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
