Virtual and augmented reality evening added to UK Events Week calendar

‘Augmented and Virtual Realities for the World of Events’, will be a topic of discussion during UK Events Week.

Panelists will include: Havas Media Group’s global head of Creative Technology, Jez Jowett; Henry Stuart, founder and CEO of virtual reality production company Visualise, and Scott Hope, commercial director of AR Experiential.

Moderated by journalist Mike Fletcher, ‘Augmented and Virtual Realities for the World of Events’ will take place from 5.30pm on 1 March.

The debate will take place at Flux London, an innovation lounge belonging to agency, Engage Works, which offers hands-on interaction with some of the emerging technologies being discussed.

The discussion, which will cover the practical implications of incorporating augmented reality, 360-degree video and virtual content into brand experiences and live events, will be followed by networking and a drinks reception.

“This is a fantastic addition for UK Events Week, featuring three pioneers of technology that will change the way we engage with experiential and live activity,” Fletcher says.
