The Leicester Business Festival returns 24 October–4 November 2016, with a programme of business-led events across the region over the two-week period.
Last year’s event showcased some of the best talent from the area via 84 separate events across Leicestershire. Twenty-five of these were completely sold.
This year’s festival, organisers say, is set to be bigger still with more events and a national conference under consideration as part of the programme.
Nearly 7,000 people took part in the 2015 festival, with 85% of its events free of charge and open to everyone from top CEOs to budding entrepreneurs.
Leicester claims the largest economy in the East Midlands. Business sectors in the region are estimated to be worth £19.4bn. There are 33,000 businesses and 435,000 employees, and a population of over a million spread across the city.
