BI WORLDWIDE improves margins with profits rise of 21%

Global engagement specialists and booking agency BI WORLDWIDE grew its sales by 9.2% in the six months from July to December 2015, and reported gross profit of 21.2% in the same period.

The agency reports sales at the end of December were £39.3m compared to £36m for the previous year, while gross profit was £11.5m, up from £9.5m at the same time a year ago.

The company puts the results down to strong growth from existing clients with some new business wins means and is now forecasting another record full year result with UK sales likely to top £46m this year.

MD Mike Davies said: “Following 37% growth last year our strategy to focus on margin improvement is bearing fruit. We are delighted that sales continue to grow and that is a testament to the talent in our business.”

BI WORLDWIDE is part of the $500m global Schoeneckers Inc and employs more than 1,250 associates throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
