#TwickersTravels pop up tour brings summer to clients

The Twickenham Experience team will take to the road again next month in a campaign aimed to bring ‘A Taste of Summer’ to conference and event organisers across the country.

The 2015 autumn Twickenham Travels tour brought the team to more than 50 companies and agents, generating £160,000 in event enquiries.

With Twickenham stadium’s £76m refurbishment in place, the venue’s event arm team, Twickenham Experience, is focusing on the spring conference season and summer banqueting.

The new #TwickersTravels tour will see the venue’s business development managers take to the road to meet agents and planners across the UK throughout February and March.

The team aim to show the versatility of the venue together with the quality of service and food provided for delegates.

James Lee, head of conference and event sales at Twickenham Experience, said: “On the back of last year’s amazing tournament we wanted to bring a taste of that excitement to new and existing clients.

“The Twickenham Travels initiative was hugely popular last year and has certainly boosted sales. We are looking forward to providing some great giveaways and fun activities on the move so keep an eye out for our team on tour!”
