The London Heathrow Marriott is to undertake a £3m refurbishment of its conference and meetings space.
The refurbishment is due to be completed in May 2016.
The investment will see 14 redesigned, multi-purpose meeting rooms within 1,800sqm of refurbished conference space.
The renovated conference space will offer a meeting room capacity of up to 480 people with an additional four meeting rooms, all equipped with technology such as LED screens, Bluetooth sound bars and a PA system.
There will be an increase in the hotel’s pre-function area and will cover 900sqm designed for accommodating larger conferences and exhibitions.
The four-star venue is working with architects, EPR, to prepare the new space.
The hotel is close to Heathrow Airport terminals 1,2 and 3.
Ron Vos, general manager of the Marriott, said: “We can’t wait for guests to see the new conference and meeting space once completed.
“It is part of our wider commitment to providing guests with the very best stay in a contemporary, convenient location and the investment is guaranteed to deliver that.”
