The Associations Network has announced a partnership with International Confex today (20 January), to deliver the show’s Association Events Forum on day one of the show.
The partnership delivered over 350 association event planners in 2015, and both parties are keen to exceed this in March.
“The forum was exceptionally well received last year, the content was strong and relevant, the networking was good, and the delegates all enjoyed the show,” said Damian Hutt, executive director of the Associations Network. “We’ll be working very closely with Confex again to create great content, but also to respond to delegate feedback that asked for more networking opportunities and other informal forums to gather knowledge and experience from peers in other associations.”
The Associations Network continues to excel in delivering content and education for the association meetings sector. This is demonstrated through the growth across its two congresses in the UK and continental Europe
“We’re delighted to be working with the Associations Network and Damian once again,” added International Confex event director Liz Agostini. “He has a brilliant knowledge and understanding of this market, and association planners trust in him to deliver compelling content. We’re looking forward to developing a really strong programme for our association buyer delegates.
“We’re also bringing together other great minds from organisers, destinations and venues who really understand this market. They will form a small focus group that will work with ourselves and the Association Network to add more ideas for content that will engage our many association planners.”
International Confex takes place 2–3 March 2016 at Olympia London. For more information visit: www.international-confex.co.uk
