Woburn House Conference Centre, in central London, has undergone a £2m makeover, with its eight meeting rooms restyled and fitted with new AV systems. A new catering company, Fare of London, was recently brought on board and opening hours extended.
General manager Richard Bull says: “Our unrivalled location in the heart of central London, along with our recent refurbishment, firmly establishes us as one of London’s leading venues. We are extremely proud of all the work that’s been done and it’s far more than just a new look, we are now offering a totally new experience.”
Lighting has played a big part in the makeover, with the renovation of the Main Hall featuring professional stage lighting and colour changing up-lighting to fit with corporate brand colours, and the foyer space is now able to be well lit for breaks and post-event drinks receptions.
Woburn House can be hired exclusively during evenings and weekends, with an extended capacity of up to 500 delegates across all rooms. Day delegate rates start at £45+ VAT and profits from the venue’s events are gifted back to the Universities UK charity.
