TRO launches internal awards in memory of Tom Gentle

Global event management company TRO has launched a new annual award scheme in memory of one of its founder employees Tom Gentle who died in September.

The annual TG Awards will recognise the agency’s outstanding employees.

TRO numbers Volvo, BMW Group and Diageo among its longstanding clients and CEO and chairman Keith O’Loughlin, said: “At TRO we are fortunate to employ many talented people, who are exceptionally committed and do fantastic work. The recipients of a TG Award have each gone above and beyond by making themselves available to help others, often at the sacrifice of their own time, for the good of their colleagues, clients and the company.”

Winners of inaugural ‘Gold’ TG Awards were:
Andy Orr, group account director, TRO Manchester;
 Craig McKay, innovation director, TRO Australia; 
Liam Thorne, designer, TRO Australia; 
Luci Beaufort-Dysart, business development director, TRO London
 and Robert French, workshop foreman, TRO Norwich.
