The International Special Events Society (ISES) UK Chapter is to join in activities around UK Events Week next year (29 February-4 March) with a series of networking and educational events that will fly the flag for the industry.
The Chapter is planning on moving one of its monthly events into the promotional week and will also participate in a number of other sessions, focusing on experience marketing and brand activation, already scheduled for the week. The ISES UK Chapter Board will also schedule its board meeting during the week.
“If it supports the industry we support it, and we want to be a part of any initiative that uses events to promote events,” says Kevin Jackson (pictured), president of ISES UK Chapter. “We’ll bring our own content to the week, but we’re also keen to get our members involved in the sessions that are looking at experience marketing, new innovations in event tech, and the work being done with senior business leaders.”
UK Events Week launched last week as part of the plans around International Confex and Event Production Show. The week will include meetings and events of every scale and covering business, marketing and influencer streams.
