Dunblane-based Fusion Meetings & Events has announced it is seeking three new staff members on the back of strong business growth in 2015.
Group MD Alex McKie said: “We have seen encouraging growth this year in the technologies and association sectors both at home and abroad, and, in the oil and gas sector, too.”
McKie said Fusion had operated events and conferences in 100 cities over five continents in 2015 and that its 2016 global events ‘business on the books’ was showing growth year on year.
“It’s not a time for resting on laurels, we will be pushing on and our planned recruitment is key to this – finding the right people with our type of work ethic,” he said.
McKie told CN that the procurement driven venue finding services provided the higher volume by far to the business,” but the gap has been narrowing for the last three years as our global events have increased in volume and profitability”.
