Capita Travel and Events has appointed Paul Saggar to the newly created role of director of digital strategy.
Capita T&E’s chief commercial officer Trevor Elswood said: “Digital is critical for meeting procurement’s needs and improving traveller and delegate experiences. We are delighted Paul is joining us to build on the investment we are making in this area. We are very clear about the ways technology can transform business travel, meetings and events, and Paul’s appointment will help shape the steps we take to support our growth.”

Saggar has over 20 years’ business travel technology experience and joins Capita from Maybourne Hotel Group where he was group IT director. Prior to Maybourne, he was vice-president of corporate solutions at Travelport and previously held various positions at HRG with responsibility for technologies including self-booking, data reporting and expense management.
