Venuemasters puts guests in the picture

Regent Street Cinema, part of the University of Westminster, hosted the third Venuemasters London (VML) networking event on 1 December to celebrate the unique space for hire within academic venues in London.

Some 70 guests enjoyed welcome drinks served in the cinema bar, before entering the stunning auditorium armed with a box of popcorn. Once seated, guests relished in the cinema experience for themselves with a screening of the services that Venuemasters, the national consortium representing around 70 venues across the country, has to offer event organisers needing to hire meeting and accommodation space, as well as a short film about the history of the beautiful cinema. Guests then returned to the foyer to network with representatives from eight VML member venues over refreshments and canapés, before re-entering the auditorium for a complimentary showing of the film that evening, Sicario.
