LSS cleans up with new contracts

A facilities management company has scooped two new million-pound contracts.

LSS has moved into Scotland with a £1.3m contract at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC), The SSE Hydro and Clyde Auditorium. The exhibition centre and live performance arenas has confirmed that LSS will deliver year-round exhibition and event cleaning services across the estate.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Football Club has also awarded the firm a £1.3m contract to provide year round cleaning services at their football ground Stamford Bridge. The Stamford Bridge site is a regular host to crowds of over 40,000 on match days, as well as hosting non-match day activities including conferences, live music and experiential events. LSS will also deliver cleaning services at the Cobham Training Ground and the Chelsea Health Club & Spa.

LSS offers a range of tailored facilities management services from cleaning and maintenance to security and stewarding. LSS is a business of Levy Restaurants UK, the sports, leisure and hospitality division of Compass Group UK & Ireland. The new partnerships bolsters LSS’ existing prestigious client roster that includes Twickenham Stadium, All England Lawn Tennis Club, The Open Championships and The Crown Estate.

Peter Watts, managing director, LSS said: “The SECC, the SSE Hydro and Clyde Auditorium are beacons of best practice in the live events and performance market and has built an amazing reputation for its customer service. Equally Chelsea Football Club has an unrivalled appeal and reach on a global stage. We are delighted to be part of these award winning teams by focussing on touch points that can only further help the experience for fans, delegates, event organisers, promoters and of course the internal team”.
