Worcestershire-based full service communication agency, the drpteam, has hit its target of completing 35 CSR projects in the agency’s 35th year, two months ahead of schedule.
Group CEO Dale Parmenter had announced at the beginning of 2015 that team members from across the business would take on the task to mark the anniversary, which was celebrated in June this year at West Midlands Safari Park.
The challenges ranged from abseiling the ArcelorMittal tower for charity Springboard UK and hosting and sponsoring the YSS Young Carer’s Conference, to regularly preparing and serving breakfast at a local homeless shelter.
Some of the larger CSR projects included the great rickshaw rally which saw the drpteam pedal 130 miles on a refurbished rickshaw from their Covent Garden office to the main studios in Hartlebury in an effort that raised £4,000 for the Meetings Industry Meeting Needs charity.
Parmenter described the accomplishment of the 35 projects as “a huge achievement”.
“The projects the team have delivered are close to our hearts and CSR has been and will continue to be at the forefront of the business,” the CEO added.
