Sky to sponsor serviced apartment providers’ convention in London

The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) has announced Sky as the headline sponsor for its annual convention in London in December.

Delegates to conferences are using serviced apartments more often than ever as an alternative to hotels and the ASAP convention, now in its sixth successive year, provides the emerging sector’s biggest opportunity to come together, attracting serviced apartment operators and agents from across the UK and overseas.

James Tweddle, director of sales for Sky Business said: “We are delighted to be supporting this event and look forward to what will be a hugely insightful and valuable day. It is fantastic to see the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers expanding its membership and we look forward to continuing our support for the serviced apartment sector and sharing knowledge, ideas and experience with members to help shape and enhance the guest experience.”

James Foice, ASAP’s MD said ASAP had worked with Sky for six years. “We are delighted to progress our partnership with them to a new level this year with their headline sponsorship of our flagship event.”

Foice expects the one-day convention to attract 400 delegates this year, an event that, he said, would culminate with the ASAP Industry Awards Dinner recognising the achievements of ASAP’s members in 2015. Sky’s James Tweddle will present the winners with their awards.

The 2015 ASAP ASAP annual convention takes place at etc.venues St Paul’s in London, 3 December.
