A London conference venue has seen new conference bookings rise by two thirds.
The commercial team at Olympia London has boosted the number of new conference bookings from 14 in 2014 to 26 this year.
In addition, 1,634 people have clicked through to its website from its digital advertising, social and email activity with our marketing campaigns – double the figure recorded last year.
New events have contributed to the venues business increase. Last month saw the international European Middle Eastern and African Society for Biopreservation and Biobanking (ESBB) Conference take place. ESBB welcomed specialists from across the globe.
That was the first time ESBB conference took place in London having previously taken place in Leipzig, Verona, Grenada and Marseille.
Gillian Kiamil, Olympia London venue director, said: “Olympia London is continuing to welcome both domestic and international business from new and emerging markets and we’re delighted to see so many events choosing our versatile space to showcase their products and services. The conference centre has been recently refreshed and we’re delighted to see it go from strength to strength.”
New shows at the venue this year include the Family Travel Show, Packaging News Live, and Management in Practice.
