Time is running out to enter the EVCOM Live Awards (formerly the Eventia Awards), the association says, with entries accepted until 8 October.
Last year the event attracted 500 attendees. This year organisers have added two new categories (26 in total) to the awards.
Submitted work will be judged by a panel of the industry’s most creative and experienced minds, including from Barclays, Petrofac and Lloyds Banking Group.
Past winners include agencies TRO, George P. Johnson, Brandfuel and QEII.
Successful nominees will be announced in early November ahead of an awards ceremony on 20 November at Olympia London.
EVCOM chairman Steve Garvey told CN he expects more than 600 of the industry’s most senior professionals to attend.
“It’s the end of year event that celebrates success in live and experiential communication, and guests can look forward to an evening of entertainment, glitter and one or two surprises.
“The EVCOM Live Awards are the most respected mark of excellence in the live and experiential industry. Their reputation is built both on the high quality of submissions and the rigorous, independent and transparent judging process,” Garvey said.
EVCOM has three awards schemes: The Live Awards, the Screen Awards and the Clarion Awards. The Clarions, held 30 September 2015, celebrate the best in corporate social responsibility, while the Screens recognise outstanding achievement in film, video and digital production and distribution.
“While in-house teams and agencies increasingly integrate live, screen and CSR communications into their projects, we believe it’s important to benchmark the most outstanding work in each of the disciplines. There’s so much excellent work out there, and our job is to promote it,” Garvey added.
