EVCOM reveals Live awards shortlist, headed by Rising agency stars

Association for the events and communication industries, EVCOM, has revealed a 41-name shortlist for its EVCOM 2015 Live Awards (formerly the Eventia Awards).

The awards acknowledge excellence in the live and experiential events communications industry.
Platinum partner the George P. Johnson agency’s MD Jason Megson revealed the two finalists for the Rising Star category: Roxanne Garbett, drp and Laura Ellis, Ashfield Meetings & Events.

The complete EVCOM Live Awards 2015 shortlist is available at the association’s website and includes: Active Training Team; Adding Value; Ashfield Meetings & Events; DB Event Networks; drp; Barclays; BBC Learning; Blue Hat; Brand & Deliver; Brandfuel; Cascade, Top Banana, TRO and Jack Morton Worldwide.

Chair of the Judges, Steve Garvey commented: “Only on rare occasions does celebration come so closely aligned with regret. The regret of what we left out was tempered by the enormous excitement we have in presenting the 41 nominees on the shortlist.

“A striking number of entries successfully integrated live communications with digital and film content to achieve huge impact. The most successful of these projects demonstrated a spectacular return on investment by putting live communications at the heart of strong campaigns. These finalists really do represent the best of the live communication industry in the UK and beyond.”

The 2015 winners will be announced on 20 November at Olympia, London.
