The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) is to take its last Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Roadshow event of the year, on 28 October 2015, to Manchester Central.
The half-day event is organised by ESSA and supported by the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), and the Association of Event Venues (AEV), and will focus on how the new CDM regulations affect the conference and exhibition sectors.
A panel of five industry experts will explore the background to, and practical ramifications of, the CDM 2015 regulations.
There will also be a case study section, and a step by step examination of CDM compliance in action, explaining which responsibilities lie with which roles and the mechanics of implementation.
Delegates will then be given a resource pack containing useful one-pagers on what an organiser, exhibitor, venue and supplier need to do, several sample check lists and plans, and other sources of information and advice.
A short question and answer session will bring the event to a close at lunchtime.
