Are you worth it?

Complete the new survey launched today (28 October) by ESP, Zing Insights and Mash Media to find out.

Specialist recruitment consultancy for the events industry, ESP Recruitment, has launched a new industry survey – Event Pay Check, a project the ESP team says will tackle topical industry trends as well as analysing salary statistics in the sector.

The report, when complete, should enable employers to benchmark staff salaries within the industry while employees will be able to check whether they are earning a salary in line with their peers.

Zing Insights, an industry full service Market Research Agency, will be joining forces with ESP to analyse salaries across all job titles within the various event sectors. Their research will drill into what motivates staff, finding out what benefits staff working in events want most. Other results are likely to include average salary increases and average hours of work across the sector.

Responses will be analysed and compared, allowing employers and employees to see which industry sector pays the most, where the longest hours are worked and where the best benefits are to be found.

Liz Sinclair, Director of ESP Recruitment, tells CN: “This year we are delighted to continue our successful relationship not only with Zing Insights, but also to start a new partnership with Mash Media, which is championing this important industry research and clearly shows a real passion for the industry.

“We really want the industry to get behind this survey and go online and complete it fully, to ensure we get the most accurate statistics. All responses are completely confidential and will help us build up a precise picture of the events industry as a career choice”.
