54th ICCA Congress set to break record for Americas attendance

Organisers of the upcoming 54th International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Congress, taking place 1-4 November in Buenos Aires, Argentina, say it is on schedule for a record attendance for any ICCA Congress held in the Americas.

As of 19 October, 758 delegates from 67 countries had registered for the ICCA Congress.
The previous record for an ICCA Congress in the Americas was 734 participants for the 2008 ICCA Congress in Victoria, BC, Canada.

In the last 10 years, the ICCA Congress has also taken place in Puerto Rico (2012) and Uruguay (2005).

The ICCA Congress brings together the world’s experts on international association meetings.

A comprehensive three-day education programme is aimed at bringing together a creative mix of associations, external experts, and a wide range of ICCA members undertaking the most innovative and exciting initiatives around the world.

Delegates attending the Business Exchange will exchange detailed information about key international events they have recently hosted or helped to organise, which allows them to return to their offices with new potential business leads.

Two-thirds of Congress delegates are CEO’s, company owners, or senior level directors.
