£2.5m refurbishment nears completion at Eynsham Hall

Boutique Cotswolds hotel and venue Eynsham Hall is near to completing a £2.5m refurbishment, a project that has seen the launch of 34 main hall bedrooms and the refurbishment of 54 lodge rooms.

There has also been investment in staff training and new new roles created as the venue’s overall headcount rises by 5%.

Further improvements and investments are also being carried out in the surrounding 3,000 acres of grounds, often used for corporate events and teambuilding.

In 2005 Eynsham Hall was acquired by the Cathedral Group, which started the investment programme in the Hall and its facilities.

Eynsham Hall’s general manager, Shaun Bowles, says: “The refurbishment marks a key turning point in what Eynsham Hall can offer to the corporate and conference market.

“We’re now able to offer conference guests the choice between great-value, comfortable lodge rooms, and accommodation in the new four-star hall bedrooms and the introduction of the brasserie (which opens in January 2016) means that we can offer much more in terms of bespoke catering.”

Eynsham Hall is located near Witney in Oxfordshire. The building as it stands today was built in 1904, replacing the original Eynsham Manor which dates back to the early 1700’s.
