Twickenham spends £300,000 on sound investment

A major sporting venue has boosted its offer to conference organisers. Twickenham Experience has invested £300,000 into an audio-visual upgrade project to improve its tech offering at Twickenham Stadium’s South Stand conference centre.

The project includes upgrades to the speaker systems, microphone systems, video signal systems and increased digital connectivity in the South Stand conference spaces.

A state-of-the-art HD projector has also been installed in the venue’s Live Room auditorium.

The new system allows HD connectivity across all facilities in the South Stand conference centre and follows increasing demand for HD facilities in the conference centre.

According to the latest figures filed at Companies House, Twickenham Experience Ltd posted a profit before tax of £10,174,000 in the year ending 30 June, 2014.

James Lee , Twickenham Experience head of conference and event sales, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer such great facilities for our clients moving forward. The new technology will make it much easier for clients.”
